Our Four Pillars of Mālama
1. Reversing Climate Change
Yummet pioneers carbon capture technology. They turn waste into biochar, sustainable concrete, green hydrogen and potable drinking water. Their innovations offer real, scalable solutions to climate change and help Hawaiʻi lead carbon neutrality.
2. Restoring Culture With Reforestation
Puʻuhonua o Waimānalo is reforesting native trees & plants to reconnect people with the land, revive ancestral knowledge, and empower sovereignty to the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi. They root the future of Hawaiʻi in aloha ʻāina.
3. Ending Plastic Pollution
The Ocean Cleanup aims to develop & scale technologies that remove 90% of floating ocean plastic by 2040. From the Pacific Garbage Patch to global riverways, they’re cleaning what humanity polluted and healing the Ocean that gives us life.
4. Feeding People in Need
World Central Kitchen delivers meals where they’re needed most, after wildfires, hurricanes, and global crises. Feeding people is foundational to protecting and they remind the world that every life deserves care, dignity, and compassion.
